Oglethorpe Holds Rattlers Scoreless Monday, August 31st , 2054 In a seemingly effortless performance, Peter Oglethorpe of the New Paltz Hawks shot down the Maricopa Rattlers 1-0 on a 4-hit shutout. "Peter was just locating so well and using his pitches," New Paltz manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Oglethorpe recorded 9 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Maricopa manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
