García Stops Columbus Cold, 3-0 Friday, September 4th , 2054 Swift Current Indians starter Santiago García really did a number on the Columbus Clippers today, shutting them out 3-0 on 1 hit in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 9 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Columbus manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to García."
