Big Day with Bat: Rodríguez 5-for-7 Monday, September 7th , 2054 In a career performance, Lake City Angels shortstop Felipe Rodríguez sparkled with the bat today at Browns Ballpark. Powering his way to a 5-for-7 line at the plate, Rodríguez led the Angels to a 4-3 win over the New Paltz Hawks. Rodríguez was in high spirits in the clubhouse after the game, joking with reporters that the big game had left him "winded." "Oh sure, 5 hits sounds great but think about how much more baserunning you have to do," he said with a smile. "Next time, I'm just going to take 5 walks." Felipe Rodríguez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and singled in the 14th.
