5-Hit Blitz by Dodd Thursday, September 10th , 2054 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Steve Dodd today. Dodd went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Brookhaven pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Ballpark of Medford, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Lake City Angels had a 13-4 victory over the Bearcats. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Steve Dodd doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Tom Ballard in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
