Savannah Wins Round 1 Tuesday, September 29th , 2054 The Savannah Storm are off to the Round 2 after an exciting Round 1 triumph. Savannah downed the Reno Chukars, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 6-5 win tonight at Oranges Ballpark wrapping up the series 3-2. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Mike Campbell, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Campbell put up a .333 with a .333 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 8 runs and scored 3 runs himself. The Savannah Storm will play against the Fresno Fireants in the next round. Fresno won their series against the Swift Current Indians 3 games to 1.
