Turner Hittin' on All Cylinders Tuesday, July 28th , 2054 Jeff Turner gave all he had to help the Hamilton County Storm today, but it wasn't enough. Turner hit for a rare cycle against the Concord Cannons, who still managed to trump Hamilton County, 10-5. He ended up going 4-for-4 with 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored in the contest. "Disappointing," Turner said later when asked to describe the experience. "I felt like we had an opportunity, but we couldn't string it all together today." Jeff Turner doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Tomás Córdova in the 8th. So far this year in 61 games Turner is hitting .283 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and 27 runs scored. View Boxscore |
