Brown Batters Hampton Roads for 5 Hits Monday, May 25th , 2054 Tim Brown was sizzling at the plate today. The Woonsocket center fielder blistered the Hampton Roads Transit for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to a 2-1 defeat. "Brown was too tough to get out today," Transit skipper said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Tim Brown doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th. Brown is presently batting .224 with 1 home run, 4 runs scored and 4 RBIs.
