Williams Stops Batesville Cold, 4-0 Monday, September 14th , 2054 Tucson Cowboys starter Steve Williams really did a number on the Batesville Bluebirds today, shutting them out 4-0 on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 7 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Batesville manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Williams."
