Armstrong Gets Award for Relief Work Tuesday, October 13th , 2054 He may only be 22, but Evan Armstrong of the Tucson Cowboys has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Sub League 1. The reliever was today named the SL1 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2054. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 21 saves in 30 relief appearances and 46 strikeouts in 31.1 innings. He had a record of 5-1 to go with his 0.29 ERA. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20. Bill Robinson of the Sparks Yellow Jackets finished second in voting, while Raúl García of the Sparks Yellow Jackets finished third with 3 first place votes.
