Garrett on Fire: 5-for-5 for Richmond Sunday, August 16th , 2054 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Richmond's 13-4 win over Oceanview today, center fielder George Garrett was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Gunslingers Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Garrett said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." George Garrett singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
