Bandits Cruise to Round 2 with Sweep Friday, September 11th , 2054 The Boca Raton Bandits appear poised to make a serious run at the Round 2 after a convincing sweep over the Anchorage Crusaders in the Round 1. It's now on to the Round 2 for Boca Raton, who won the final game 10-2 and took the series 3-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Boca Raton center fielder John Moody, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Moody hit .545 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Boca Raton Bandits don't know who they will face in the next round.
