Aviators Advance to Round 2 Sunday, September 13th , 2054 The Dayton Aviators triumphed 6-4 over the Nantucket Seadogs at Express Ballpark in the Round 1 to capture it 3-1. The victory advanced the Aviators to the Round 2. For his superb play in the series, Aviators second baseman Oliver Romero garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .533, scoring 2 runs and batting in 8. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the Round 2," Romero said later. "I'll get to work on that." The Dayton Aviators will play against the Boca Raton Bandits in the next round. Boca Raton won their series against the Anchorage Crusaders 3 games to 0.
