Elly De La Cruz was instrumental in his team's 11-5 triumph over the St. Louis Cardinals. The second baseman went 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Colorado Rockies. The win puts Colorado at 26-10 this season.

Colorado used a clutch hit from Jeff Angell to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockies ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
