Encarnacion-Strand Excels in 10-4 Colorado Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Oklahoma City Red Hawks and Colorado Rockies get after it.

The Colorado Rockies defeated the Oklahoma City Red Hawks, 10-4, at Colorado Field today. Leading the charge for Colorado was designated hitter Christian Encarnacion-Strand. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win boosted Colorado to 33-13.

Elly De La Cruz, who finished 3rd in the NL in stolen bases with 45 in 2024, aided the Colorado cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.

"It was a solid team effort," said De La Cruz after the game.
