Cleveland pinch hitter Matt Mervis had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Baltimore Orioles, 7-4. After today's action, Cleveland sits at 78-75; Baltimore slips to 88-66.

Mervis had a timely hit for Cleveland in the bottom of the seventh. With Baltimore trailing 4-3, he turned a 3-1 fastball into a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 7-4, Cleveland.

"Matt is still learning," said Indians manager Michael Nelson. "The sky's the limit for him."
