The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins get after it.

Minnesota rode a good effort from starter Tyler Mahle to beat the New York Yankees at Target Field. The final score was 8-2. The 4th-place Yankees have lost 4 straight games.

The Twins got a big at-bat from second baseman Orelvis Martinez. For the game, Martinez went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Minnesota a 4-2 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Martinez. "And not try to do too much."
