Colorado Gets 7-4 Win Against Padres
Behind the hitting of Julio Rodriguez, the Colorado Rockies stopped the San Diego Padres, 7-4. Rodriguez went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Rockies. The win for the Rockies raised their record to 46-19.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand made an early impact for Colorado when he stroked his 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Rockies on top, 5-2.
