Pirates Stumble, Lose to Rockies
|
Colorado got a strong outing from Ed Ault as the Rockies defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 8-1, at Colorado Field. Ault picked up the win for Colorado, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 8-0. The victory gives Colorado a record of 48-23.
Mike Zunino took Logan Allen deep in the bottom of the second. His 3-run home run put the Rockies on top, 3-0. In all, Zunino had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
