Martinez Blasts Twins, Yankees Take Game 4, 7-5
The New York Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins, 7-5 in Game 4 of the Championship Series today. Making an impact was third baseman Angel Martinez, who went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win moves New York into a 2-2 tie with Minnesota in the series.

Martinez contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped New York get the win.

"There's nothing like the postseason," said Martinez, "to ramp up the pressure."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Yankee Stadium in New York.
