Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Las Vegas Aces got the win.

The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at Las Vegas Ballpark, knocking off the New York Yankees, 4-2. Starting pitcher Wilmer Flores was a big reason why. Osiel Rodriguez was credited with the save, his 11th in 12 tries.

The Aces got a big at-bat from center fielder Ian Happ. For the game, Happ went 2-3 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Las Vegas a 4-2 lead.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Happ.

The 'W' lifts Las Vegas's record to 53-43.
