White Sox Prevail, 6-4, Over St. Louis
|
Chicago and St. Louis duked it out and the White Sox came out victorious.
The Chicago White Sox trumped the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4, at Guaranteed Rate Field. Chicago catcher Daniel Susac was terrific. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Matt Brash notched his 26th save in 29 chances.
Chicago grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Susac hit a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the White Sox out in front, 6-3.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Chicago manager Harry Stocks.
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Chicago.
