Led by Roc Riggio, the New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-5. Riggio went 4-7 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Yankees. With the win over Toronto, the Yankees improved to 51-54.

Riggio had a game-changing home run in the top of the 14th. On a 1-0 fastball from Jorge Marcheco, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Yankees a 7-5 lead. It was the 30th home run of the year for Riggio.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Riggio.
