Las Vegas Gets 9-2 Win Against Royals
The Las Vegas Aces thumped the Kansas City Royals, 9-2, at Kauffman Stadium. Andres Gimenez was a big reason his team got the win. Gimenez was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3. Las Vegas pitcher Randy Vasquez got the win, upping his record to 1-2. Zack Wheeler got the loss. Las Vegas has 3 straight wins, Kansas City 3 straight losses.

Las Vegas used a well-timed hit by Wander Franco to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Gimenez told the Las Vegas Gazette.
