Blue Jays Take 10-1 Pounding
Pitcher Henry Baez was rock solid in helping the New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 10-1. Baez went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 5-1. New York has now won 3 straight, while the Blue Jays have lost 3 in a row.

Israel Pineda put New York in front, 4-0, when he took Darren McCaughan downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the top of the sixth. It was his 3rd home run of the season.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Pineda told the New York Today.
