Rojas Hits Two Homers in 9-6 Win for Toronto
Led by Juan Rojas, the Toronto Blue Jays downed the Texas Rangers, 9-6. Rojas was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Blue Jays. Angel Macuare earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. At 45-66, the Blue Jays find themselves in 6th place in the American League East Division.

Rojas contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Toronto in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 6-5, Rojas took a fastball from Mikell Manzano and stroked the home run to right-center. His 26th home run of the season allowed the Blue Jays to leap in front, 7-6.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Toronto manager Drey Wood.
