Loss to Aces Extends Boston Losing Streak
The Las Vegas Aces weathered a fine game by Boston third baseman Cade Doughty to upend the Red Sox, 5-3, at Las Vegas Ballpark. Doughty went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Jose Berrios. He's now 11-3. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits for the Aces. Simon Pacheco picked up the save for Las Vegas, his 19th of the year.

Luis Arraez, who finished 4th in the AL in hits with 184 in 2025, aided the Las Vegas cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
