The Las Vegas Aces trumped the Boston Red Sox, 5-3, at Las Vegas Ballpark. Las Vegas first baseman Tucker Toman was terrific. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Dylan Cease, the winner, goes to 8-10. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts over 6 innings.

The Aces got a lift from center fielder Matt Gorski, who in the bottom of the first stroked a first pitch fastball into center for a 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Aces ahead, 2-1.
