Houston pitcher Shawn Armstrong got the win. He's now 3-4. Rowan Wick was tagged with the loss. Shane Bieber recorded the save for Houston, his 25th of the season.
Vinnie Pasquantino, the 28-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Pasquantino contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Houston up, 4-3.
"We did enough to win," said Pasquantino.
The 6th-place Astros have won 4 straight games.
