Pittsburgh Pirates starter Randy Poffo worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the Atlanta Braves, 1-0. Pittsburgh reliever Hunter Greene got the win, raising his record to 6-5. Hayden Juenger was tagged with the loss. The 6th-place Pirates go to 55-62.

Brendan Rodgers was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pirates second baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Atlanta manager TJ Smith.
