Detroit Tigers starter David Festa turned in a top-notch performance against the Seattle Mariners at Comerica Park. The result was a win for the Tigers, 4-1. Ramon Perez recorded the save, making him 7 for 10. Detroit is last in the American League East Division with a record of 46-85.
The Tigers extended their lead in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, Nasim Nunez grounded out, driving in 1 run to make it 3-1, Detroit.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Nunez said after the game.
