Las Vegas Aces starter Wilmer Flores pitched a strong game against the Kansas City Royals at Las Vegas Ballpark, leading the Aces to victory, 5-4. Las Vegas reliever Robbie Ray picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Emmet Sheehan was saddled with the loss. The win lifted the Las Vegas record to 70-66.

Carson Kelly came through for Las Vegas with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Kansas City manager Fraser Stewart.
