New York wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Brandon Woodruff, falling to the Cleveland Indians, 2-1. Woodruff threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Cleveland reliever Andrew Kittredge picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Adrian Morejon absorbed the loss. The triumph puts Cleveland at 74-72 for the season.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cleveland trailing 1-0, Brad Braun hit a fastball from Trevor Megill to right for a 2-run triple. Just like that, the Indians had a walk-off win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Braun said.
