Jace Jung was a major factor in the 6-3 St. Louis win over New York. The Cardinals first baseman was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Paul Sewald notched his 51st save in 58 chances. The Cardinals, at 91-59, have now won 5 straight.

The Cardinals got a big hit from third baseman Brady House. In the bottom of the sixth, House pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 22nd home run of the season put the Cardinals ahead, 4-0.
