White Sox Take Tight Tilt
In a low-scoring clash between Chicago and New York, pitcher Chris Sopko was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 win. Matt Brash was credited with the save, his 37th in 41 tries. The win gives Chicago a season record of 77-75.

Kyle Manzardo, the 26-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Manzardo contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Chicago up, 2-0.

After the game, Chicago manager Harry Stocks applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
