Orioles Deal Indians 6-4 Defeat
|
Baltimore left fielder Jaheim Thibou was a significant contributor in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Cleveland Indians. He went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Baltimore. Baltimore pitcher Anthony Solometo got the win. He's now 1-0. Patrick Sandoval was tagged with the loss. Josh Hader, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
With Baltimore leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Thibou hit a 2-run single off Cleveland hurler Patrick Sandoval. It was the 4th hit of the season for Thibou and put his team ahead, 4-0.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Thibou.
The loss puts Cleveland at 0-5.
