Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Mets
In a well-pitched game between the New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals, pitcher Jesus Luzardo was superb. The New York left-hander helped his team win, 2-0. New York currently is in 6th place in the National League East Division at 72-80.

New York used a clutch hit from Logan O'Hoppe to get the win. The catcher drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mets ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Runs were at a premium," said New York manager Brent Natwick.
