Streaking Aces Win Another One, 2-1
|
Las Vegas rode a fine outing from starter Kodai Senga to victory over the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The final score was 2-1. With the loss, Los Angeles drops to 8-9.
Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Steven Kwan to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aces on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Senga told the Las Vegas Gazette. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
