The Minnesota Twins topped the New York Yankees, 6-3, in American League action at Yankee Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minnesota pitcher Carlos Rodon. Alexis Diaz was credited with the save for Minnesota, his 4th of the season. New York falls to 10-9.

Joey Gallo, who finished 3rd in the AL in home runs with 50 in 2023, aided the Minnesota cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gallo.
