The Colorado Rockies bested the Arizona Diamondbacks, 8-4, at Colorado Field. Triston Casas was one of the standouts. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Aaron Ashby picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Davis Martin was tagged with the loss. The save went to Camilo Doval, his 3rd this season.

With Colorado leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Casas hit a slider from Davis Martin for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Rockies ahead, 7-3.

"Enjoyed this one," Casas told the Colorado Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

Colorado goes to 13-7 with the win.
