Trout Helps St. Louis Cruise to 11-3 Win
The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals by a score of 11-3. St. Louis right fielder Mike Trout deserved the lion's share of the credit. Trout went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Cardinals. The winner was Andry Lara, who threw 97 pitches over 7.1 innings.
