Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Red Hawks
The Pittsburgh Pirates got a sterling performance from pitcher Reid Detmers, but the Oklahoma City Red Hawks still prevailed, 5-3. Detmers threw 5.0 innings of 2-hit ball. For the Pirates, the loss makes their record 10-15.

Oklahoma City won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With two outs and John Curtiss on the mound for Pittsburgh, second baseman Kevin Made hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Red Hawks fans to their feet.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Made, "one at-bat at a time."
