International League Announces #1 Starter Thursday, July 1st , 2027 In June when the Norfolk manager wrote the name "Brnovich" on the lineup card, he knew he had a good shot at winning. Start after start in the month, Kyle Brnovich took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-1 mark and 2.35 ERA in 6 starts. The gifted Tides star pitched 38.1 innings, fanned 35 and held opposing teams to a .234 average. For his outstanding mound performance Brnovich was named the IL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. In 16 starts this season Brnovich has notched a 7-5 record and a 4.55 ERA. |
