Hollis 5-for-5 Against Lions
|
Bishop Gorman center fielder D.J. Hollis had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the JSerra Catholic Lions at Field as the Gaels picked up a win, 23-8.
"He was patient up there," Bishop Gorman skipper Devin Summey told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Hollis has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
D.J. Hollis walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Omari Baldie in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Josh Plattner in the 9th.
