Farragut Wins Wildcard Series
It went the distance, but the Farragut Admirals finally disposed of the Har-Ber Wildcats 3-2 in the series clincher at Field.

Winning the finale gave the Admirals the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Regional Series.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Farragut center fielder Nate Cheney. He batted .545 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs.

"Nate deserves it," said Admirals manager Alan Phillips. "He was the glue that held our club together."

The Farragut Admirals will play against the Auburn Tigers in the next round. Auburn won their series against the Baylor School Raiders 2 games to 1. The Regional Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
