Bears Move on to Super Regionals
The Mercer Bears and Creighton Bluejays held nothing back in an entertaining Regionals that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Mercer advancing to the Super Regionals, after a 8-5 triumph in the final game at Field, to wrap up the series 2-1.

The Bears players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Bluejays.

Chris Samet was named series MVP for Mercer. For the series, Samet hit .400 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Mercer Bears will play against the Northeastern Huskies in the next round. Northeastern won their series against the Xavier Musketeers 2 games to 0. The Super Regionals schedule will be announced after the Regionals finishes.
