White Sox Outdo Blue Jays in Extra Innings
|
The Chicago White Sox picked up a win at Rogers Centre, knocking off the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Brad Pollak played a key role in the conquest. The winner was Chicago reliever Chris Clothier, now 6-4. The loser was Juan Aguilar. The White Sox raised their record to 76-75.
Chicago second baseman Jim Heath delivered in the clutch. With two men out in the top of the tenth, he banged a solo home run to help his team get the win.
When asked about his performance after the game, Heath said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
