Kansas City HS Sweeps into the League Championship Series Tuesday, May 23rd, 2028 The Kansas City HS Metro Stars are on to the League Championship Series after a convincing series win over the Santa Rosa HS Power. Kansas City HS wrapped up the series sweep with a 4-3 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Svatopluk Svoboda, who was named series MVP. For the series, Svoboda hit .400 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Kansas City HS Metro Stars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Tucson HS Peach Kings - Anchorage HS Sand Gnats series. Tucson HS leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
