5-Hit Game for Robinson Sunday, May 3rd , 2043 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Michigan's Darrin Robinson made it happen today against the Seawolves. Everything came together at the plate for the 20-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and led the Wolverines to a 29-5 win at Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Robinson said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Darrin Robinson hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Nate Davis in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Thus far this year Robinson is hitting .451 with 5 home runs, 29 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
