Riordan Delivers Walk-Off Win for Mounties
Mounties fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Hamilton Mounties topped the Owen Sound Waveriders, 4-3, in Canadian action at Harbour Field. The standout performance belonged to Hamilton pitcher and Pickering, Canada, native Lewis MacEwen. Paul Dominey, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits.

Jim Riordan was the walk-off hero for Hamilton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mounties left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Riordan. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The win gives Hamilton a season record of 16-16.
