Caribou Defeat Mounties, 9-3
The Thunder Bay Caribou topped the Hamilton Mounties by a score of 9-3. Leading the way was left fielder Brett Collins. Collins went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Caribou. Thunder Bay now has a record of 78-66 with the win.

Thunder Bay used a timely hit from Charlie Ruíz to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 18th inning to put the Caribou ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Collins told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
